(CM) – The CM is responsible for the effective coordination and optimization of sourcing and procurement processes. The CM builds and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders across all Qorvo sites. They organize requirements, manage interactions, and implement comprehensive agreements with suppliers outlining all commercial, capacity, and technical aspects. The CM maintains ownership of supplier contracts, commercial terms, and price performance. The CM also leads periodic supplier business review sessions with key suppliers while working with suppliers to achieve cost and lead time reductions, manage quotations and cost analysis to aid in negotiations. They lead and coordinate the qualification of alternative solutions by evaluating supplier capabilities, capacity, and overall ability to deliver. The CM must also drive process standardization strategies across all Qorvo sites, assist in resolution of supplier nonconformance issues and support the implementation of corrective actions. They must prepare and present annual and ad hoc Category reports to the Executive Team.Responsibilities:Manage Global Qorvo spend on SMDs, External Filters, and IPDsAchieve annual cost reduction goalsMaintain working knowledge of current and developing technologiesCollaborate with technical stakeholders to qualify alternative sources for assurance of supplyMeasure supplier performance, conduct supplier business reviews, and drive improvementsMeasure spend and savings, set price reduction goals, and manage projects to achieve successMaintain Category Strategy and present Category report-outs to leadershipMaintain business acumen to stay ahead of the industry curveQualifications / Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or an Engineering discipline; Master's Degree preferred15+ years of experience in Category Management, Supply Chain, Sourcing or equivalentKnowledge of semiconductor passive electronic componentsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, and enthusiasmAdvanced proficiency in clarifying complex situations and securing consensus within internal and external audiencesAble to manage numerous activities simultaneously and reprioritize in a fast paced, dynamic environmentExperience with SAP (Material Management module, PO, Material Master, etc.) and supplier contract negotiationsStrongly motivated and self-managed: adept at setting priorities independently, meeting commitments and driven by the desire to seek valuable improvementsWorking knowledge of Lean preferredThe candidate selected for this role will be based in Greensboro, NC#LI-NN1MAKE A DIFFERENCE AT QORVOWe are Qorvo.
