Sr.

Principal Project Manager

to oversee and manage acquisition and delivery of spare parts, coordinate the repair/return of reparables, and oversee performance of alteration/maintenance operations on Gas Generators. This position is a project management role within the Launcher Program Office located at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station working with internal and external organizations to achieve customer needs and goals. Responsibilities include the following: Coordinates all phases of Launcher Subsystem Spares, Repairs, and Gas Generator program. Provides oversight and reporting of cost, schedule, and accomplishment of assigned projects. Performs roles and responsibilities related to Control Account Manager (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM). Ensures that contract requirements are met by coordinating project activities with participating functional organizations, vendors, or suppliers which are necessary to meet project requirements. Acts as a customer contact for project activities, contribute to project status review sessions with internal management and customer to discuss cost, schedule, and performance. Establishes project milestones and monitors adherence to processes and schedules, identifies project risks and manages risk mitigation or solutions. Participates in the development of contract proposals and contract modifications. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years or Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years Project Planning/Program Management experience. Prior experience working with cross-functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Field Operations, etc.). Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project. Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with the TRIDENT II Launcher Subsystem and Support Equipment. Previous experience with manufacturing or production programs and SAP MRP (or similar) system. Working knowledge of Earned Value Management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Salary Range:

$95,000 - $142,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
