A healthcare system in the New York City is actively seeking a licensed Family and/or Internal Medicine Physician to join their growing staff in the Bronx. In this role, theFamily / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for providingprimary medical care to patients at the Diagnostic Treatment Center or at home as needed.Responsibilities:
TheFamily / Internal Medicine Physician will:Complete initial assessment and evaluation of new patientsProvideongoing monitoring of patients medical condition and provides the treatmentOrderprescription medications and diagnostic proceduresAuthorizeand coordinateall specialty and ancillary servicesProvidein-service staff development and clinical teaching of trainees rotating through the Medical practiceParticipatein the development of such programs as preventive health screening, immunization programs, professional community outreach, quality assurance, etc.Participatein a wide range of clinical and epidemiologic research projects and studies of the frail elderlyParticipatein multidisciplinary team activities, including case conferences, hospitalization reports, and family and team meetingsCompleteother duties as assignedQualifications:Graduate of an accredited U.S. Medical School or foreign equivalentLicensed to practice medicine in the State of New YorkBoard Certification in Family and/or Internal MedicineDesired Skills:
