Position is working all front office in a Cardiovascular Medical Group.Summary:Full Time Medical Scheduler/Authorization SpecialistJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00- $23.00 per hour DOEFacility: Cardiovascular GroupLocation: Encinitas, CADays: Monday- Friday 8am-5pmPrevious experience as one of the following required:Authorizations/ Scheduling Specialist, Strong knowledge of Medical Insurance Plans with Surgery Scheduling!Job Duties & Responsibilities: Greet patients upon arrival and check in according to protocol Enter and update all patient demographics Insurance verification and collection of co-pays Surgery Scheduling a MUST! Must have extensive knowledge of insurances and coordination of benefits Take detailed and accurate messages Assists check out, medical records and answering phones Position Requirements Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years recent medical experience in a busy medical office/ admitting and or surgery center Good communication skills including verbal and written Completion of a Medical Administrative Course or Medical Assistant Course Good work history and positive references Computer skills including EMR Surgery Scheduling a MUST!HALO Staffing Group works with the largest and best hospital systems and offers top-pay and full benefits.
