What You'll DoMaintain regular, professional contact to create and foster relationships with client representativesResearch and resolve issues and requests in a timely manner, including issues requiring direct interactionsAnswer questions related to benefits programConduct reviews and works to provide guidance on compliance related mattersAssist in and prepare materials and collateral for meetings and discussionsActively participate in discussionsRecord and report meeting discussion and action itemsCarrier and vendor managementOversee new vendor/carrier implementationsReview carrier, vendor, and plan documents and contractsMaintain regular contact with carrier and vendor representatives to ensure client advocacy and that issues are being resolved in a timely mannerWork with clients to develop short and long-term employee communication objectivesCreate member facing collateral pieces to promote and clarify benefit program featuresLead in-person, virtual, and telephonic sessions to provide information and plan details to participantsUse regular interactions to update clients on carrier and vendor partner features and servicesActively participate and contribute to client service team operationsEffectively communicate client updates to appropriate team membersAssist with other team duties as needed – i.e., position vacancy, cover personal time off, etc.You Should HaveMinimum 2 years of experience servicing a mid-market book of business within the retail insurance brokerage industryIntermediate MS office skills (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)Ability to learn and work in agency/client management systems and other related software and technology platformsAttain and maintain state life and health license in accordance with IMA standardsIntermediate interpersonal communication skills – written and oral – with the ability to articulate ideas and information in a clear and concise mannerDemonstrate critical thinking and problem solvingAbility to present information in a group setting (in person and virtually)Intermediate organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects with variable deadlinesPossesses high degree of diplomacy and tact while maintaining confidentially
