We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated Permanent Litigation Associate to join our thriving legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity for those who are looking to take the next step in their career and work on complex, high-stakes litigation matters. The successful candidate will be part of a team that handles a wide range of commercial and general business litigation issues. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the legal industry with a proven track record in trial, discovery, deposition, and motion practice. Onsite requirements up to 4 days per week or depending on business needsResponsibilities
As a Permanent Litigation Associate, you will be expected toAssist in all aspects of trial preparation including research, drafting pleadings and motions, and managing discovery.Represent clients in court hearings and trials, effectively presenting their case.Conduct thorough legal research to identify issues and relevant matters that could impact the outcome of the case.Conduct and defend depositions, interrogatories, and document production requests.Draft and argue pre-trial motions, briefs, and pleadings.Collaborate with team members to develop case strategies and prepare for court proceedings.Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing them with regular updates on case progress and advising them on possible outcomes.Ensure compliance with procedural rules and ethical standards in all legal matters.Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Litigation Associate position should possess the following qualificationsJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar.Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial litigation and general business litigation.Proven trial experience, including the ability to handle complex legal disputes.Extensive experience in discovery and deposition.Proficient in motion practice and drafting briefs.Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex legal arguments clearly and persuasively.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes efficiently.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.High ethical standards and professional integrity.If you are a dedicated, ambitious legal professional with a passion for litigation, we would love to hear from you.
