The Mid-Level Patent Associate Attorney will primarily focus on patent prosecution and portfolio management, specializing in video processing and codecs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.Duties:
Conduct patent prosecution and manage patent portfolios.Provide counsel on patent analysis and opinions.Participate in Inter Partes Reviews (IPRs) as needed.Stay updated on video coding standards and technologies.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.Adapt to the firm's evolving needs and best practices.Requirements:
2+ years of prosecution experience at a firm or in-house.Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.Strong knowledge and experience in video processing and video codecs.Familiarity with video coding standards.Experience in virtual/augmented reality and AI is a plus.Graduate-level experience or an advanced technical degree is a plus.Admission to the USPTO is a plus.Skills:
