SummaryInferno Systems is currently looking for a Python developer to build out and automate the deployment of servers and clusters in air-gapped and internet cloud environments. The position involves a blend of DevOps and operational support, working closely with penetration testers to automate operating system deployment and software provisioning. Responsibilities include designing and deploying infrastructure using orchestration tools like Ansible, automating testing, and writing scripts for task automation. The role focuses on automating manual tasks to accelerate tool and infrastructure deployment, requiring agility to adapt to changing operational conditions.JOB SUMMARY:
This role involves creating and maintaining DevOps projects for automated testing, infrastructure deployment, and log aggregation. Responsibilities also include optimizing support for operational activities, linking technical capabilities, documenting technical information, identifying gaps or risks, and strong communication and collaboration. The ideal candidate should have experience in Agile methodologies, Python programming, Bash scripting, Linux and Windows environments, virtualized environments, CI/CD pipelines, data flows, ETL processing, orchestration tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt, Linux logging, network traffic analysis, and using code repositories and ticket tracking software.REQUIRED SKILLS:
Create and maintain DevOps projects focused on automated testing, infrastructure deployment, and log aggregation.Optimizing support for ongoing operational activities by applying technical knowledge to implement changes.Link, analyze, and assess technical capabilities between internal applications.Document technical information into clear, readable pages for support.Assist in identifying potential gaps and risks for operational support.Strong and flexible communicator, facilitator, and collaborator.Experience in Agile software methodologies.Ability to research, analyze, prioritize, and problem solve.High-level software development lifecycle expert.Programming in Python and scripting in Bash.Experience with Linux and Windows environments.Understanding of Linux operating systems.Experience in virtualized environments like VMWare ESXi.Experience with CI/CD pipelines.Experience with data flows and ETL processing.Experience with orchestration tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.Strong interpersonal communication skills.Understanding of Linux logging and log aggregation software.Ability to conduct network traffic analysis.Familiarity with network traffic redirection.Experience with code repositories and ticket tracking software.DESIRED SKILLS:
