The Assistant Director of Prevention is responsible for the research, design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based primary prevention and health promotion curricula in accordance with state, federal, and UC System regulations. These activities include addressing healthy and high-risk behavior and creating lasting cultural change. This position develops, implements, and coordinates a vision for violence awareness programs and response services on campus in regard to sexual violence, stalking, and intimate partner violence.

The full salary range for the Assistant Director of Prevention Education is $73,600 - $133,200 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $85,500 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
