rr Position Summary:
rThe position oversees digital media assets for branding and marketing. The position is responsible for leading the overall strategy, implementation, workflow and organization of digital asset management (DAM) systems, as well as overseeing user training and onboarding. They will partner with team leaders across campus to organize and secure assets for general use and special projects as needed.
Duties may include:
Manage and facilitate workflows to incorporate digital assets into DAM systemsEstablish, test and document name taxonomies, metadata schema and tag standards across the enterprise within multiple asset categoriesControl and ensure metadata accuracies are consistent across the institutionDevelop and manage metadata tools, controlled vocabularies and standardization solutionsManage and maintain assets and provide quality control for naming conventions, file management, metadata and meeting copyright requirementsReceive, organize, categorize and enter digital assets from creative teams, contributions from colleges, departments and contracted freelancers for medial libraryPlan, coordinate, manage and deliver multiple assets with competing priorities and deadlinesEnsure assets and applications are compatible with the entire technology stackMaintain server and redundant back-up driveEnsure organization, file capacity and regularly scheduled maintenanceOther duties as assigned
rr Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Design, Communications or Information Systems
{=html} - Three years managing digital assets including: - Working within a multi-tiered server structure for Digital Asset Management (DAM) - Research and analytics related to digital media asset usage - Applying keyword tagging and metadata nomenclature consistently with attention to detail - Managing multiple projects with competing deadlines including establishing and relaying timeline expectations and delivery requirements of content contributors in a deadline driven environment
rr Preferred Qualifications:

Five years experience in creative operations, production environment asset managementKnowledge of copyright management and usageExperience organizing and managing projects independently and as a teamAbility to manage multiple competing prioritiesExperience in security and data management storage methodsExperience maintaining information with detailed records-keeping systems and metadataExperience using computer software applications
