Overview

JST is currently seeking a

Senior Engineering/Program Manager

to join our team. This is a full-time Onsite position with potential hybrid/remote work at Defense Health Agency (DHA) headquarters, Virginia. JST offers a full benefit package, a collaborative work environment and strong company culture. Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

The

Senior Engineering/Program Manager

shall be professional in demeanor, appearance, and deportment. Employees shall be responsive. The

Senior Engineering/Program Manager

may be required to interface with senior Government and industry officials. Personnel shall have excellent written and oral communications skills sufficient to provide clear concise communication and documentation. Proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project as well as with Adobe Acrobat.

Senior Engineering/Program Manager Responsibilities

Strong communication skills as Program Manager

Exceptional knowledge and understanding of Project Management on DoD Acquisition programs managing cost, schedule, and performance parameters.

Ability to develop project goals for DHA CAE as their own and use skills and expertise to drive analysis of Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P) associated with DoD and DHA occupational and environmental health.

Ability to explore and support Total Exposure Health (TEH) and associated physiologic and environmental monitoring programs within a Strategic Plan and CONOPS. Identifies gaps and solutions to DOTMLPF-P.

Responsible for using best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/customers' needs and deliver with-in budget on desired outcomes.

Responsible for defining the project scope and objectives to ensure project members understand what is expected of them and what they should expect from one another.

Prepares, maintains, and submits clear and concise activity/progress reports, time recording, and management reports.

Ability to apply proactive approach in routinely tracking of project members' progress against their project commitments.

Responsible for defining, teaching, and enforcing the use of good project management practices.

Possess a broad and flexible toolkit of techniques used for resolving complex, interdependent activities into tasks and sub-tasks that are documented, monitored, and controlled.

Adapt approach to the context and constraints of each project. Improve teams' skills through lessons-learned reviews at project completion

Senior Engineering/Program Manager Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree

A Project Management Professional certification is required (such as PMP or other equivalent certification).

Must have active secret Clearance

Required Clearances and Screenings

MUST be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance

Must have active secret Clearance
