Summary
Join a team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) and modernization activities for an enterprise Integrated Workspace Management System (IWMS) that provides infrastructure and facilities management solutions to critical missions. We are seeking a strong
senior developer
that is comfortable
learning a COTS product and developing subject matter expertise , tackling challenges sometimes without a lot of guidance or information, and collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment. The primary responsibilities of this role require
maintaining and enhancing complex operational software systems , interacting with Government project leadership on priorities,
developing task estimates , and
providing input to Government roadmaps . Other activities include conducting
upgrades ,
debugging existing software
and
correcting defects ;
integrating existing software into new or modified systems
and operating environments; investigating and
analyzing user problems
and identifying
potential solutions .
Requirements
TS/SCI with Polygraph
A
bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in software development and engineering.
Ten (10) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Experience with
JavaScript and XML .
Understanding of Linux server environment.
Willingness to embrace challenges and seek to
become an expert in the products . Experience with
COTS integration . Experience
developing and updating technical documentation . Skilled in problem solving and
troubleshooting computer systems and software . Must be able to work during
core hours of 10 am-2 pm Monday - Friday . Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Secondarily, it is desired that the qualified candidate have experience closely collaborating with the Government customer and managing systems hosted in
virtual environments such as AWS or C2S . Experience with
Java and JavaScript, Oracle and SQL databases , familiarity with
ARCHIBUS ,
agile development methodologies . Experience the with the
Atlassian Tool Suite
including
Confluence & Jira , and experience with
Perceptive Content
or any content management or workflow management suite.
