Our client is seeking a dynamic associate with 2-3 years of business litigation experience to join their Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in the Tampa office.
Key Responsibilities:Handle complex business litigation in state and federal courtsConduct and manage written and document discoveryResearch and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filingsConduct and defend depositionsPrepare witnesses for testimonyAppear for status conferences and argue motionsParticipate in mediation, settlement conferences, and negotiationsAssist with arbitration or trial preparationPreferred Qualifications:Experience with AmLaw 100 firmsStrong writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to thrive in a sophisticated practice within a busy, collegial environmentDemonstrated ability to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Litigation DepartmentRequired Qualifications:J.D. from an ABA-approved law schoolActive member in good standing with the Florida BarApplication Process:
