The Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Account Executive with a track record of success selling cyber security software into CISO / CIO / Information Security / IT departments. This will be the second hire on Optery for Business’ sales team.You will sell Optery for Business personal data removal software subscriptions to enterprises covering their employees and executives, and their own customers ( https://www.optery.com/business/ ), and also craft partnerships with leading cybersecurity companies who wish to integrate with Optery for Business’ API.Key Responsibilities

Build and manage relationships with enterprise clients to drive revenue growthIdentify new sales opportunities and develop plans to pursue themImplement strategies and tactics to source leadsDevelop and maintain a deep understanding of Optery's products and servicesCollaborate with other team members (e.g. marketing, product, customer support, customer success) to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with overall company goalsHelp improve Optery’s processes and procedures in internal SOPs and instruction setsStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure that the sales team is using the most effective strategies and tacticsRepresent Optery at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new business leadsWork with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive new businessEnsure a smooth onboarding experience for new clientsTravel to customer meetings as neededQualifications

Bachelor's degreeTrack record of professional success and achievementAt least 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of and quota attainment2+ years in the cybersecurity or data privacy industry is strongly preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with enterprise-level clientsAnalytical and data-driven, with experience using sales performance metrics to inform decision-makingAbility to build and maintain relationships with enterprise-level clientsLocation

Optery is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, but operates as a fully-remote global team. This job requires a candidate to be located in the United States. While not required, candidates in the New York City area can work hybrid (3-4 days a week) in an office environment.Compensation & Benefits
