You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Business Directorate of SUPERVISOR OF SHIPBUILDING BATH.

Salary Range by Grade Level and Location:

Bath, ME

GS-09 - $67,743 to $88,065

GS-11 - $81,963 to $106,549

San Diego, CA

GS-09 - $68,297 to $88,786

GS-11 - $82,633 to $107,421

Marinette, WI / Sturgeon Bay, WI / Mayport, FL

GS-09 - $59,966 to $77,955

GS-11 - $72,553 to $94,317

For the GS-11 Grade Level:

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level

(GS-09)

or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector

as a professional contract specialist monitoring or evaluating contracting functions, activities, or operations (e.g. cost/price analysis, negotiations, pre-award and post award processes, solicitations, procurement, and contractor performance) to ensure compliance with established contract terms and requirements for the repair, construction, maintenance, or modernization of surface ships or submarines.

For the GS-09 Grade Level:

or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector

as a professional contract specialist performing contracting functions (e.g. cost/price analysis, negotiations, pre-award and post award processes, solicitations, procurement, and contractor performance) to ensure the acquisition of supplies or services for the repair, construction, maintenance, or modernization of surface ships or submarines.
