Ensure quality IT solutions by creating test plans, test cases and document test artifacts in Azure DevOps.Execute a variety of tests scenarios on developed software in order to verify items are working as requested by the internal customer.Serve as a back-up to Automation Engineer by writing, updating and executing test scripts across all products while ensuring updates occur constantly.Write, update and execute test scripts using Selenium web driver, preferably with c# as needed across all products in production and test environments while ensuring updates occur constantly.Gather information on desired outcomes by researching and meeting with the product owner and development team to validate business requirements and the integrity of the application.Improves Quality compliance by recommending and following-up on improvement plans, writing training manuals, and contributing information to the cross-functional Business Quality Improvement teams.Prepare quality assurance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.What is required?

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.Experience:

3+ years’ experience in Manual and Automated QA Testing is required.Previous Auto insurance industry experience is required.Experience with automated testing tools is required.Must have previous exposure to UI testing using Selenium web driver using c#.Previous experience with VSTS (or previous versions of Visual Studio).Exposure to Duck Creek and Guidewire systems is a plus.Exposure to Azure DevOps.Skills and Abilities:

Must have intermediate to advanced experience with database, spreadsheet, word processing software to prepare statistical and written reports for management.Must have previous troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.Critical thinking and ability to provide creative solutions for testing.Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies.Ability to work independently to meet deadlines.Flexibility in learning new products and technologies quickly, as well as the versatility to move across platforms and/or applications as needed.Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong organizational skills and excellent time management skills.What else do you need to know?
