This role offers the opportunity to work on internationally recognized transactions in the energy transition space, including novel financing deals.Duties and Responsibilities:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as necessary.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:JD degree from an accredited law school.3 years of experience in energy transition finance matters, including handling transactions in financing and M&A of energy transition projects and companies.Experience in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.Admitted to practice law in North Carolina.Skills and Competencies:Strong analytical and writing skills.Attention to detail and good business judgment.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Research and problem-solving skills.Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.Persuasive communication and management skills.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) plan.Company info
