The Personal Injury Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases, from initial consultation through trial. The role involves client communication, legal research, drafting legal documents, and courtroom advocacy.Duties:
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case.Take and defend depositions of witnesses and experts.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Lead mediations and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.Licensed and in good standing with the Ohio State Bar.Experience drafting and responding to motions.Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.Education & Certifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Ohio State Bar.Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong legal research and writing abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Benefits offered:
