The Personal Injury Attorney will handle personal injury cases from inception to resolution. This includes client communication, legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiation, and trial advocacy.Duties:
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs.Lead mediation and settlement negotiations.Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials.Requirements:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.Experience drafting and responding to motions.Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.Education and Certifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Louisiana State Bar.Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and legal research abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and time management skills.Benefits Offered:
