This is a fantastic opportunity to be a contributor in Motorola Solutions’ growing Rave Mobile Safety software business. This role will be a finance analyst supporting the Rave Mobile Safety portfolio from a GTM (Go-To-Market) Finance perspective. The person in this role will work closely with the Sales, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and Business Operations teams to track the success of Rave Mobile Safety products and will be instrumental in telling the story of how our product development and go-to-market strategies drive financial performance, including the integration of Rave products with the broader Motorola product portfolio.Job Description

In this role, you will work closely with Motorola Sales Leadership as a finance business partner supporting the Rave Mobile Safety business, one of Motorola’s largest and most recent acquisitions.You will be primarily responsible for:Influencing the Rave GTM strategy through analyticsAssisting in the Orders reporting and forecast build-up through partnership with the various sales teams, channel leads, and sales ops team.Business case modeling for GTM projects and tracking of performance to business case.Expense management, variance analysis and investigation, department ownership, and creating visibility for leaders to derive actionable insightsAssist in preparation of financial dashboards and reporting of key performance metrics using accurate and quality data.Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual budget forecasting cycles and working with department managers to collect inputs and perform analytical reviews.Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation to financial systems.Assist with financial modeling in a variety of ad hoc scenariosUnderstand the relationship of Orders, Backlog, and Revenue in conjunction with the nuances of Motorola’s financial systems to ensure revenue recognition is accurate and timely.Play a proactive role in implementing new procedures to improve efficiency, automation and integration of disparate systems.This position will play a critical role in supporting the Rave Mobile Safety business as the organization continues to transform. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious candidate that wants to develop and establish new processes to effectively partner with the business team and drive results.Additional Skills:Strong analytical and organizational skills; and curiosity to develop new methods and processes.Prior experience in data flow automation / visualization tools preferredExercises good judgment, flexibility, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under time constraints and across a matrix organization.Strong system skills including Tableau, Salesforce, Oracle, MS Office/Google Suite; SmartView and Alteryx are a plus.Basic Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required2+ years of experience working in Finance / Accounting / FP&A roleTravel Requirements
