JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: IT Support Specialist

DEPARTMENT: Operations

REPORTS TO: COO or CEO

JOB SUMMARY:

IT Support Specialist Operations COO or CEO The IT Support Specialist will act as the go-to person for technical support including hardware, software, email and other help desk issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage hardware set up for all newly hired employees including computers, cell phones, hardline set up (Ring Central).

2. Troubleshoot and maintain existing hardware for all divisions.

3. Manage and maintain email for all divisions, including creation of email addresses for all newly hired employees and assignment and creation of distribution lists.

4. Manage internal information sharing platforms, including Share Point.

5. Act as the Remote Help Desk for hardware, software and third-party platforms (Ring Central, current ATS and others).

6. Maintain and troubleshoot networking issues for all offices and remote staff.

7. Create and manage tracking system for all company assets (Computers, phones, cell phones etc.).

8. Order, distribution, and manage cell phone for select staff.

9. Facilitate technology needs for office moves or new offices, i.e., transferring accounts, ensuring hardwiring needs.

10. Serve as point of contact with local vendors for office issues, when necessary, i.e., printers not working and cannot be fixed remotely.

11. Serve as the point of contact for all warranties and manage same.

12. Develop and implement basic robotic process automations as needed.

13. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education and/or Experience - At least three (3) years of experience in an IT support role in an organization that has both a centralized and remote workforce. Must be able to juggle multiple projects efficiently.

Availability - Daily schedule will 10am - 6pm Eastern time.

Must also be available for emergency issues that arise, particularly on the West Coast.

Technical Knowledge -

o Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10)

o Office 365 experience - remote support o Email client set up and maintenance

o Able to stage laptops and desktops for deployment

o In-depth knowledge of hardware and software

o Software and Hardware management (installation, settings, etc.)

o Investigating, diagnosing and solving Users IT issues

o VoIP - able to setup phones and make sure connecting Page 2 of 3
