Are you a dynamic and experienced Commercial professional with a passion for driving business growth and excellence in the construction fit-out industry? Our client is a leading construction fit-out contractor specialising in commercial, industrial, retail, hospitality, and education sectors. With a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and client satisfaction, they have successfully completed numerous high-end projects across Singapore. They are now looking to bring on a Commercial Director who can help drive the growth of the business across all areas.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute commercial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Contract Management:
Oversee all aspects of contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and risk management to ensure profitable project delivery.
Client Relationship Management:
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the commercial team, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential.
Financial Management:
Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to optimize profitability and cost control.
Develop Bid Strategies Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to commercial operations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including project management and operations, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or similar
Proven experience in a senior commercial role within the construction fit-out industry.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Fellow or Associate of RICS or similar internationally recognised affiliation
