A Ph.D. in biochemistry, cell biology, or related fieldMinimum of three years of experience in molecular biologyMinimum of three years of experience in protein purification and characterizationRelevant experience in protein structure is highly preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesDemonstrated ability to work independently and contribute to collaborative research projectsAbility to reliably commute to workplaceWhat you will do:
Molecular Biology: engineer and optimize microbial expression systemsMicrobial Expression: oversee microbial expression projects; ensure efficient production of recombinant proteinsProtein Purification and Characterization: execute protein purification and characterization techniquesProtein Structure (if applicable): leverage expertise in protein structure to gain insights into structure-function relationships of target proteinsAnalytical and Assays: design and perform analytical assays; analyze, interpret, and present experimental dataWork with MEDNA lab automation tools and share feedback with engineering teamPerform other duties as assigned by managementPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
