We are looking for passionate and innovative graphic designers with a strong commitment to teaching and shaping the next generation of designers. Rutgers University-Camden invites applications for a (part-time) lecturer faculty position in our BFA Graphic Design program for the Fall of 2024. We are looking for dynamic individuals who can inspire and educate students while contributing to the growth and development of our program. We are specifically looking for those who can teach Fundamentals of Adobe Program for Graphic design and Artists, Graphic Design II and Fundamentals of Motion Graphics for Fall 2024Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate courses in graphic design, including but not limited to typography, GD Foundations, publication design, branding, motion graphics and user experience design.Help develop and update curriculum to reflect current industry trends and technological advancements.Mentor and advise students on academic and professional development.Qualifications

MFA in Graphic Design or Professional experience in the graphic design industry.Demonstrated a desire to excellence in teaching at the college level (teaching experience is not necessary).A strong portfolio showcasing professional and/or personal design work.Proficiency in industry-standard design software and emerging technologies.Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.Engage in creative and scholarly activities, contributing to the field of graphic design.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with curriculum development and academic program assessment.A record of creative and/or scholarly achievements.Professional experience in the graphic design industry.Application Process
