Tenure Track Assistant Professor-Health SciencesThe Department of Health Sciences at Rutgers University-Camden Campus invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to start in Fall 2025. Candidates should have research expertise in health sciences and have a PhD or comparable degree currently or by the start date. Applicants may have a disciplinary affiliation with public health, psychology, public policy, sociology, neurobiological science, health economics, or other related fields.

Teaching Responsibilities:

Teaching responsibilities include courses in the undergraduate major Health Sciences and the graduate program in Prevention Science as well as classes focused on the candidate’s area of expertise. These include both topical courses at the undergraduate and graduate level (e.g., Introduction to Health Sciences, Introduction to Prevention Science), as well as graduate-level methodology and statistics courses in Prevention Science (e.g., Program Evaluation and Implementation Science). Candidates are also expected to mentor doctoral students in Prevention Science.
