The Accounting Manager will be responsible for full cycle accounting for the company and will report to the Controller. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a self-starter and has a strong working knowledge of US GAAP. The company is growing, and you can grow with it! Key Responsibilities
Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliationsMaintaining general ledger accounts and processes in Sage Intacct and ViewPointManaging month-end closePreparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicableResearching accounting issues for complianceCoordinating the accounting integration of acquired companiesIdentifying the need for and hiring new accounting staffSupervising and supporting the senior accountant and AP managerRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting5 years’ experience in industry with increasing levels of responsibility2 years’ supervisory experienceCPA preferred but not requiredExperience playing a significant role in a system implementation or integrationExperience using Sage Intacct or ViewPoint is highly preferred but not requiredAcquisition integration, experience writing technical accounting memos and experience with FloQast are not required but very beneficialBenefits
