The Lead, Material Program Manager (MPM), for Surface and C5S Division (SC5S) in Camden, NJ will use their past experience in Supply Chain and/or Program or Product Management to lead a cross-functional team to develop a robust Supply Chain Strategy and execute key programs across the SC5S Programs/Products. In collaboration with functional leaders, the Lead MPM will institute tailored “right-sized” practices and approaches for successful execution on early engineering design efforts, to complete the product life cycle with a focus on risk and opportunity management to ensure top-notch execution. The Lead MPM will be responsible for program cost, schedule, and compliance with internal and external regulations regarding materials and subcontracts.In this highly visible role, the Lead MPM will collaborate across functions and be part of the Supply Chain team serving as a key interface to Program and Product Offices, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Operations. This individual will also be a Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain and Programmatic Practices.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Developing and executing strategies and actions to baseline and improve both supplier and customer on-time deliveryEnsuring timely completion of all material and subcontract program milestonesBeing accountable for the material and subcontract program budgets and driving actions to improve financial performanceServing as the primary liaison between Supply Chain and other functions for key Products/ProgramsAnalyzing key performance indicators and identifying challenged areas and championing continued improvementsLeading others by influence in a matrixed environmentDeveloping Supply Chain Estimates utilizing Risk & Opportunity for Best Case, Most Likely, and Worst case for ETC’s and New business CapturesEnsuring compliance with all internal and external laws and regulationsAssisting Program Finance in Rolling up quarterly financial status against the AOP and Short Term Forecast, EAC, and ETCEnsuring customer flow-down requirements are communicated and documented through the Supply BaseManaging key supplier performance and relationshipsLeading Supplier Recovery Strategies with transparency in Reporting Supply Chain status and communicating critical issues to internal stakeholders with solution-focused actionsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experienceExperience in Supply Chain and Program Management execution across a Product Life Cycle (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PRR, etc.)Ability to communicate effectively, to internal executive leadership or line management both written and verballyNew Business Proposals / Capture Experience on competitive and/or sole-source pursuitsDemonstrated Management and Leadership experienceSubcontractor Management through various stages of development through productionAbility to break large complex issues into smaller individual approaches to achieve business objectivesEarned Value Management experience / Previous Control Account Manager experienceExpertise in FAR, DFARS, ITARPreferred Qualifications:Experience in developing technical statements of workPMP CertificationAdvanced degreeL3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
