Worship Leader

I. Summary of the position:• The Worship leader cultivates a Christ-exalting, life-giving, and passionate worship culture at BRAVE. This individual will lead full and part-time staff, volunteers, and other people or groups assigned by the Lead Worship Pastor. The ideal candidate will subscribe to a Word and Spirit philosophy, balancing the inerrancy of the Word of God and the submission to the prompting of the Holy Spirit.II. Experience and Knowledge Required:Minimum of 3 years of worship leading in a local churchAbility to handle multiple projects effectivelyExcellent verbal and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Word, Excel, and Power PointAbility to learn and use RockRMS softwareAbility to learn and use Planning Center Online softwareProficiency in voice and piano or guitarAbility to create, coordinate, and lead a worship experience with a teamAbility to recognize, recruit, and develop top talent for worship team expansionIII. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Lead worship for the services of BRAVE, as well as staff prayer eventsAssist in the planning and implementation of the music, to include special attention to the theology of song lyricsAssist in the training and coordination of BRAVE Worship vocal/band teamsAssist the Lead Worship Pastor with department planning and implementation of department projects and assist in achieving weekly goalsHost open auditions for worship team expansionAssist in the care of the BRAVE Worship TeamParticipate and help accomplish major worship projects and department goalsOther ResponsibilitiesTrain, coordinate, and schedule the vocal teams at the designated campusAll other duties as assigned.IV.
