About Us
As one of the leading Central PA Automotive dealers, at Turner KIA we seek to grow our sales and service business even further and are looking for a Business Development Center Representative to be an integral part of that effort. We seek an effective communicator who is proficient in customer calls and appointment creation for the service departments in a busy BDC office.
The successful candidate will handle a high volume of customer inquiries via inbound/outbound calls and emails in a professional, courteous manner. The position requires entering customer information into the dealership’s computer database; setting service appointments for current and prospective customers to meet with a member of the service teams; following up with existing customers to determine their level of satisfaction; and generating service leads.

Responsibilities
Communicate effectively with internet customers and prospects by phone, email or text
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all dealership products and services
Maintain an ongoing customer database to capture repeat business
Handle incoming calls
Handle 80-100 Inbound/Outbound calls per day using dealership resources - NO COLD CALLING
Set Service appointments for customers to visit our Service Department - may require selling add on services
Utilize the hands-on training and coaching provided to effectively build rapport with customers, overcome concerns and objection, and motivate customers to make appointments
Help dealership achieve sales and service goals by developing business and following up on opportunities
Requirements
Previous call center experience, a plus
Previous Service BDC experience, strongly preferred
Proficient computer skills
Competent in communicating through email, telephone and text
Professional appearance and demeanor
Tenacious, yet professional follow up with customer base
Ability to thrive in a team environment
Flexibility to rotate day or evening shift
Ability to overcome challenges and be able to handle high-volume
Excellent follow up skills
