GIS Developer SrRequired Education: Bachelor's degree in Geography, Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field.
Required Experience:Ten (10) or more years of experience performing application development with five (5) years performing GIS application development including web-based GIS applications.Proven experience with documenting code and performing version control using industry standards tools.
Performance Expectations:Designs, develops, and/or deploys geospatial applications/capabilities to support business/mission activities.Familiar with maintaining or creating geospatial application program interfaces (API) including but not limited to ESRI's ArcGIS Server APIs (JavaScript, REST and Python).Experience with multiple JavaScript libraries (Dojo, jQuery, Leaflet, etc.).Ability to leverage past and present versions of geospatial software programs including ESRI's ArcGIS products (ArcGIS Server, etc.).Thorough understanding of ESRI Enterprise platform. Proficiency with .NET, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS, Python, and Java. Familiarity with RDBMS software including but not limited to Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.Strong technical written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to clearly communicate concepts and ideas.Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a multi-discipline team.
