The Jing Li group ( https://jinglilab.com ) at the University of Mississippi is currently seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate to join our team. The position will involve applying molecular dynamics simulation, machine learning, and bioinformatics to investigate the sequence-structure-dynamics-function relationship of ion channels and membrane transporters. Additionally, we aim to explore the molecular mechanisms underlying dysfunctions in these membrane proteins that contribute to various diseases. Our postdoctoral positions offer a collaborative team-based environment with ample opportunities for education, training, and career development.Minimum Qualifications

Applicants should possess a recent PhD degree.General background in biophysics, biochemistry, biomedicine, or chemistry.Extensive experience in performing molecular dynamics simulation or machine-learning modeling on biomolecules.Preferred Qualifications

Extensive experience in writing research articles and a strong track record of peer-reviewed publications in biomedical research.Proficient scientific programming skills.Team-oriented with excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Salary

Salary is negotiable, with minimum salary following the NIH guidelines, and the positions are fully benefitted.Location
