About Houston-Galveston Area Council
The Houston-Galveston Area Council is one of the largest regional planning commissions in the country with a diverse service area of 13 counties and more than 7 million people. We are the pulse of our region addressing issues that cross city limits and county lines every single day.

Key Qualifications
Experience with Content Management Systems
Experience supporting content editors
An understanding of website content/layout best practices and standards
Full-Stack web development experience
An interest in building creative solutions
A drive to continuously improve applications and websites
Can write well-formatted, clean, efficient code
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Do you have...
Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
3 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Kentico or a similar content management system
Demonstratable experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, the Bootstrap Framework v4 or greater, .NET Framework, the MVC development model, and SQL
Experience with the creation of web forms
