Job DescriptionWe are looking for an Account Director to be the liaison between the client and the internal agency team to ensure the client’s needs and goals are being met on every project. You would be responsible for getting the client the best possible work but at a profitable return for the agency. You would develop a thorough knowledge of the client’s business, the consumer, and the marketplace.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients.Develop advertising and marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics.Prepare and present strategies, media plans, and creative concepts at client meetings.Keep in contact with clients throughout all stages of the campaign.Formulate plans to extend new business with established accounts.Supervise strategic development and implementation of client programs.Responsible for final billing.Initiate new projects for clients.Work closely with project managers on all projects.Create case studies for past campaigns.Monitor client satisfaction.Represent the agency at tradeshows.Write SOW for existing clients.Prepare for existing and new client pitches.Lead project kick-offs.Educate clients regarding the timing required for execution and stay informed on progress through project managers.Consult with the Creative Director on creative output.Lead weekly calls between clients and the agency.Develop campaign/project proposal strategy.Ensure creative platform concepts and media strategy align with account strategy and brand.Maintain a deep understanding of clients’ industry, consumer profiles, and competitors.Facilitate weekly client-facing status meetings.Serve as the primary contact for both clients and internal teams for all elements relative to clients.Develop ongoing strategic recommendations that solve business objectives for clients.Ensure the team is successful with the execution of the entire client engagement.Own client conflict resolution.Manage account satisfaction for clients.Ensure alignment of creative and client strategy and spot checks as necessary.Manage individual client profitability.Manage client account reviews.Manage existing client revenue goals and projections.Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.Requirements10+ years’ experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.Advertising Agency experience is a must.Digital experience is a must.
