SummaryThe Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. The position will assist the Accounts Payable Team with timely and accurate information reporting including but not limited to invoice approval and payment process and subcontractors' management.Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Communicate with the Project Management Team and other Department Heads for invoices' approvalReview and post AP invoices with appropriate codingGather all backup for AP payment selectionPerform weekly check runProcess credit card expense reporting and EFT paymentPerform troubleshooting as necessary to resolve issues with invoices or vendors' paymentHelp team members with other ad hoc requestsRequired Qualifications

B.S. in finance, accounting, or relevant field1-2 years of recent relevant experience. Newly accounting graduate is encouraged to applyAttention to detail is a mustExperience in A/P and month-end close process'Can do' attitude to accomplish goalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong customer service skillsProficient with computer software, and MS Office specifically ExcelPreferred Qualifications

Experience in accounting for construction is strongly preferredFamiliarity with accounting software including Vista, Sage, Quickbooks, SAP is highly desirable
