Staff Accountant (Sage Intacct Required)

Role: Staff Accountant (Intacct Required) Hiring Type: 6 month contract to hire Location: Washington D.C Office Schedule: in office 3x a week Pay: $30 - $33 / Year Salary upon conversion: $70000 - $75000 Our client, a prestigious Non Profit with a great mission is looking to add a Staff Accountant (MUST have Sage Intacct experience) to the team. This individual's primary responsibility will be reconciliations. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE BELOW REQUIREMENTS Requirements Sage Intacct experience (MUST) 2+ years of Accounting experience 2+ years of Reconciliation experience (credit card reconciliation, bank reconciliation) Highly Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Accounting software, Anybill Responsibilities AP/AR Bank Reconciliation, Credit Card Reconciliation Month-end close Generates invoices and processes manual checks in Sage Intacct when necessary (i.e., garnishments, payroll, field trips, etc.) Help maintain Sage Intacct (accounting software) by creating vendors, customers, and employee files for check/invoice processing Manages Anybill/Paypool (accounts payable automated platform). This includes setting up vendors, users, approval routes, importing invoices for payment processing, reviewing and approving invoices to assure correct GL coding, and managing voided checks
