Our client, a prestigious Non-Profit with a great mission, is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their team on a temporary-permanent basis.

Requirements

4+ years of Accounting experience -- Credit Card Reconciliation, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation experience preparing journal entries

Highly Preferred

BS in Accounting or a business-related field

Non-Profit Industry experience

Software experience: Sage Intacct, Any Bill, and QuickBooks

Responsibilities

Credit Card Reconciliation

Handle about 40 company credit card reporting functions

Accounts Payable for two entities

Track Government Grants

General ledger reconciliations, Bank reconciliations, Preparing Journal entries

Reconciling/recording electronic credit card payments

Investment journal entry, Deferred revenue recognition

Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and accompanying schedules at audit-ready status for month-end and annual closing

Reconcile all bank accounts in a multi-company environment
