Our client, a prestigious, well-known Non-Profit is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Accountant to their team. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity.

Requirements:

3-5 years of Accounts Receivable Accounting experience

Experience with recording high volume credit card, Lock box mail, checks

Work in GL, deferred revenue

Job Responsibilities:

Reconcile AR Subledger to GL; they would own it. Not a lot of billing.

Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and analyses as directed (bank, subsidiary, general ledger, prepaid, etc.) to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Prepare journal entries with proper accounting classifications in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Responsible for accounts receivable which includes preparing customer statements, bills, invoices; researching customers’ accounts and making recommendations; generating monthly accounts receivable aging reports; investigating and resolving billing and account discrepancies.
