Our client, a prestigious Non-Profit, is looking to add a Senior Staff Accountant on a temporary-permanent basis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s in Accounting or business related degree
4+ years of General Ledger and Bank Reconciliation experience preparing journal entries
Must be fully vaccinated
Responsibilities
Back for AP/AR
General ledger reconciliations, Bank reconciliations, Preparing Journal entries
Reconciling/recording electronic credit card payments
Investment journal entry, Deferred revenue recognition
Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and accompanying schedules at audit ready status for month end and annual closing.
Prepare workpapers and manage pledge and general receivable schedules.
Reconcile intercompany accounts and prepare any proposed journal entries.
Prepare all journal entries necessary to perform tasks for review by Controller.
Review adjusted trial balance monthly; recommend revisions and or journal entries to bring into compliance.
Reconcile all bank accounts in a multi-company environment
