Our client, a prestigious 502-C Non Profit with a great mission, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team on a Contract-Hire basis. Great working environment with room for growth.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field

Strong GL experience required (Minimum of 2 years)

Strong month-end, reconciliation, financial statement preparation experience

Responsibilities

Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and accompanying schedules at audit-ready status for month end and annual closing.

Prepare all balance sheet schedules for annual audit including Uniform Grant Guidance audit and tax audit including Form 990 schedules.

Prepare workpapers and manage pledge and general receivable schedules.

Reconcile intercompany accounts and prepare any proposed journal entries.

Prepare all journal entries necessary to perform tasks for review by Controller.

Review adjusted trial balance monthly; recommend revisions and or journal entries to bring into compliance.

Reconcile all bank accounts in a multi-company environment

Manage and prepare necessary documentation for both positive pay and ACH fraudulent monitoring for all major cash accounts in a multi-organization environment
