Job Description

At Block, our mission on the Executive Operations team is to amplify the impact of executives and their teams. We are looking for an innovative, trustworthy, reliable individual with a passion for supporting teams. Our Executive Assistants are strategic partners - from calendaring and booking travel, to reporting processes and providing team support, you will participate in a variety of efforts to support Block’s programs. You will join the Executive Operations Team, supporting team(s) focused on the Talent discipline. We are looking for a natural leader who has a passion for solving problems, enjoys taking on new tasks and projects, who’s unflappable under pressure, and who executes at a high level with integrity in this energetic and human-centric environment.

ResponsibilitiesProvide a wide range of strategic to administrative support for 1-2 executivesProactively manage the executives’ calendar, travel bookings, expenses, and other administrative tasksEnsure executive preparation and effectiveness by attending meetings as needed, taking notes, and being an active participant in team meetings and a knowledgeable resource on the organization/topic at handProvide administrative and strategic support to our Talent team(s) as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining complex calendars, requiring coordination with executives, partners, and other members of the Executive Operations TeamFind new and efficient ways to create work processes to help maximize your executives' time, including weekly and quarterly reporting, goal-tracking, and team meetingsPrioritize, identify gaps, and take ownership of projects; help compile and prepare material and agendas for team meetings, such as all-hands presentations and eventsWork within our centralized Executive Operations team to provide support, mentorship, and guidance to enhance the team as a whole

Qualifications6+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Business Partner, or similar role; ideally with both small and large scale technology companiesExcellent at building relationships and working effectively with a variety of cross-functional partnersThe ability to organize, analyze, and prioritize executive workflows, often using and interpreting dataExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAdvanced proficiency with Google Suite, including Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides
