This role will have a direct impact on our financial reporting process, and you will collaborate with other accountants to create precise and timely financial reports. We are looking for an accurate and skilled Staff Accountant who can work with minimal supervision.
What You'll DoDRI for Accounts Payable CycleAccounts payable, expense report, and credit card reconciliation detailed review, approval routing, entry, and paymentWork cross-functionally to execute the accounts payable role within the organizationDemonstration of knowledge and execution of foundational financial concepts, analysis, and reportingAccurately and timely prepare month-end close procedures, journal entries, and balance sheet account reconciliationsMonthly financial statement preparationManage fixed assets, issue non-inventory purchase ordersCreate and file 1099sAnnual audit preparationTimely property tax filingsAssist with special projects as requiredAny other duties as assigned
What We're Looking ForAbility to interact effectively with vendors and co-workersIntermediate level of accounting knowledgeStrong Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to adjust to a fast-paced environment with varying deadlinesHigh School graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferredAt least five years of general ledger experience with 2 years of accounts payable experienceExperience in the E-commerce industry is preferredQuickBooks Desktop experience preferredNetSuite knowledge and system conversion preferredEffective problem-solving skillsStrong work ethic, excellent organization, and communication skills
