Primary Duties:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Swiss CNC Programmer to join our team. As a Swiss CNC Programmer, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process by programming, setting up, and operating Citizens Swiss Lathes and Doosan machines. Your expertise in CNC programming software, preferably MasterCam or Esprit, will allow you to optimize our manufacturing process to reduce cycle-time and setup time while ensuring exceptional part accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently program, set up, and operate Citizens Swiss Lathes and Doosan machines.
Utilize your in-depth knowledge of part drawing specifications, materials, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters to accurately interpret and understand requirements.
Expertly apply geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) in accordance with industry standards.
Utilize precise measuring instruments like templates, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauge blocks to inspect and verify dimensions of workpieces for conformance to specifications.
Demonstrate exemplary work habits by adhering to safety and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Foster open and effective communication with colleagues to ensure a collaborative work environment.
Represent the CNC department at New Product Introduction meetings, providing valuable insights and contributions.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team on bidding for new products, utilizing your technical expertise to inform decision-making processes.

To excel in this role, the following experiences and qualifications are desired:
Possess familiarity with G & M codes, enabling you to navigate complex programming challenges.
Proficiency in setting tool registers, managing offsets, and tool compensation to ensure optimal machining performance.
Familiarity with CNC programming software to efficiently program and optimize machine operations.
Strong preference will be given to candidates with aerospace industry experience, allowing for seamless integration into our specialized projects.
Previous exposure to AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards and procedures is highly beneficial in meeting industry requirements.
Experience in smart scheduling and scheduling forecasting techniques to maximize productivity.
Knowledge of "exotic metals," such as titanium, enabling you to address unique machining considerations.
Preferred background in heat treatment and plating processes to contribute to our diverse manufacturing capabilities.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, PPAP, QAD, or other quality management systems, showcasing your commitment to continuous improvement.
