Summary : The Account Manager is responsible for leading the expansion of CC&N's presence throughout the United States. Primary objectives are to meet or exceed annual budgeted DAS/Public Safety/Wi-Fi revenue and operating income targets, establish lasting vendor, partner, and customer relationships, and effectively manage branch staff.Essential Functions:Diligently develops and sustains relationships with customers to retain and grow existing businessDevelops new account business for all CC&N portfolio offerings, with specific focus on DAS, Public Safety, and Wi-Fi solutionsMeet or exceed annual assigned budget revenue and operating income goalsTracks sales activities through customer relationship management (CRM) databaseGenerates and interprets various sales metric reports to manage Regional and National sales strategyResponsible for coordinating design, estimation of time and materials, and proposal generation for projects with the Design GroupSupport Design Group by participating in Bid Reviews and proposal approvalsPartner with DAS and Wi-Fi leadership to ensure project quality assurance, adherence to industry and CC&N standards, and completion within budgeted dollarsPartner with Field Resource team to coordinate and schedule technician work assignmentsPrepare, present, and attend company, customer, and vendor meetingsPromote adherence to operational processes and provide guidance and direction on continual process improvementEducation/Skills/Experience:College degree or equivalent experience in sales or business managementDemonstrated customer relationship-building experience that has led to sustained business growthExperience proposing and executing strategic growth initiatives aligned with company objectivesC-Level Customer and leadership presentation skills consistent with a needs-based sales approachAbility to travel extensively (25%) within the 48 contiguous United StatesTrack record of establishing prioritized customer calls and work plans, as well as problem-solving and responding to customer issuesMotivated to work independently to drive resultsDemonstrated ability to build internal, team-based relationships that meet and exceed customer value expectationsExcellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skillsComputer skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookPreferredKnowledge of telecommunication and data network cabling and connectivity in both installation and testing procedures5+ years of DAS, Public Safety, and/or Wi-Fi business development and market experiencePeople-first leadership experienceGeneral understanding of NFPA ERRC requirementsPossess a general understanding of cellular communication systemsProject Management training/certificationRCDD CertificationBICSI CertificationPhysical and Mental Requirements:This position requires a combination of physical and mental capabilities to perform effectively.Physically, employees are expected to engage in extended periods of stationary position as well as moving around throughout the workday. Activities such as preparing documents, participating in bid reviews, and meeting with clients both in person and virtually, are essential.
