We are seeking a visionary HR Director to lead our clients human resources strategy and operations. This pivotal role will involve developing and implementing HR policies that foster a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performing organizational culture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing HR functions across multiple countries, with a strong understanding of diverse legal frameworks and cultural nuances.They are seeking a high-energy, compassionate leader of people to help enhance the roles and responsibilities of our dynamic team! Reporting to the COO, the Director of People is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive human resource program.

Responsibilities:Develop and implement HR strategies and initiativesImplement company culture, values and policiesEnhance current workforce strategies, to recruit, on-board and develop qualified candidatesCommunicate with employees about compensation, benefits and other facets of their employmentNurture a positive working environmentHandle employee relations counseling and exit interviewingConsult with upper management, providing HR guidance when appropriateOversee workers comp, safety and employment law complianceProvide leadership to staff on matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion related to staffOversee the administration of the group benefits program including self-funded health, dental, and vision benefits plans, life insurance, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, employee assistance program, and tuition reimbursementOversee all employment recordsOversee the administration of the retirement plan in partnership with the ControllerAdminister the compensation program for staffPerform other responsibilities and duties as assignedQualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required in related field. Master’s Degree preferred.Five or more years of progressive experience required, with at least two years of related supervisory experience.SHRM certification preferred.Ability to interpret and apply concepts related to benefits, employment, and labor lawAccurate, detail-oriented, and quantitative skills including the ability to compile data and prepare correspondence and reportsExcellent communication, writing and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize duties and work independently.Intermediate computer skills (HRIS, report writing, MS Office)Must be able to anticipate and plan for cyclical activities.Discretion and reliability in sensitive and confidential matters is expected
