Specialty Group of Orthopedic Surgeons seek to add a full-time Physician Assistant. This Physician Assistant will support two Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons both in the OR and the clinic. This position will be clinic based with a strong focus on spine cases and extremities. The position is Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (day).
Responsibilities include:
Pre and post-operative H&P’sJoint injectionsWriting scriptsRemoving casts and pinsConsultation and patient evaluation and educationReviewing lab results in a clinic setting
They are located in a state-of-the-art facility that has EMR, Digital X-Ray, and onsite PT/OT. Call is for the office only (phone).
Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified. Preference is for some orthopedic experience but will consider a recent graduate with some orthopedic background. The group prefers candidates that have ties to the area or to the east coast.
