Health care System seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their Orthopedic Team. The Physician Assistant will work directly with two top Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeons in the NYC metro area. They have a very busy practice that includes new and revision total joint cases. The Physician Assistant will work both in the OR and the Clinic and will run their own orthopedic clinic. The position is Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) with no call or weekends. The position will be focused in Manhattan with some light travel to lower Westchester.Responsibilities
Patient evaluationsInjectionsRemoving casts and pinsReductionsConsultationRounds and patient evaluation and educationWriting prescriptionsReviewing lab resultsCandidates must be organized, a self-starter and able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Minimum Requirements
This position requires some orthopedic experience. Prefer candidates from the NYC region.Compensation
