Objective: Oversee financial systems for Shadowbrook ChurchResponsible for all financial activities for the church and support the Weekday School (WDS)Process all contributions in the church and works with other staff to ensure proper accountabilityProcess all payables and receivables for the churchProcess all payables and receivables for Weekday School (WDS)Manage cash flow for church and Weekday School (WDS) to meet obligationsImplement and oversee all church investmentsAssure that current financial data for the church and Weekday School (WDS) is available to staff and leadersProcess payroll for Church Staff through Ministry WorksProcess Weekday School (WDS) payroll in coordination with Ministry WorksPrepare timely, monthly P&L’s for the church, each lead team member, and for Weekday School (WDS)Complete monthly bank reconciliations for Shadowbrook Church operating & investment accountsComplete monthly bank reconciliations for the Weekday School (WDS) accountManage COMMUNITY CHURCH BUILDER and APLOS financial systems (these are the church database and accounting systems)Manage church tax filing yearly & make quarterly tax payments to IRSManage distribution of annual giving statementsResponsible for all check reimbursements and reimbursement processWork with Weekday School (WDS) on the management of the total budgetSupport elders & lead pastor with an annual budget with reports, trends, and spending dataPrepare and implement the annual church budgetOversee retirement contributionsCoordinate with the insurance company to review annual quotes and plans for reviewWork with keeping good accountability policies in money stewardshipManage and file 1099’s annuallyMaintain an online financial record system for the churchOther duties as assignedPosition Qualifications:
