The CT Technologist performs complexComputed Tomography imaging procedures under direct supervision, producingdiagnostic images of human anatomy and vascular structures. You will provideaccurate image archival as well as verification and archival of completestudies on the PACS System. Your role will involve the expert operation ofpost-processing/3D work stations, and power injectors in the preparation andadministration of IV contrast material. As the CT Technologist you willmaintain accurate records, ensure patient comfort and confidentiality andadhere to sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols.Responsibilities also include coordinating exams, communicating with nursing units anddemonstrating professionalism and ethical judgment. The technologist mustfollow departmental policies, maintain equipment and upholdcertification/licensure requirements. Additionally, they may be assigned to theMobile Stroke Unit, participating in dispatch, assessment, and treatment ofacute stroke patients and engaging in related research activities.Salary: $48.28 - $63.65 HourlyQualifications

CRT Radiography - requiredARRT (R) - requiredARRT (CT) licensure - requiredVenipuncture certificate - requiredRadiologic Technologist Program Graduate - requiredA minimum of 3 years of CT experience - highly desired and preferredAssociate degree, Bachelor's degree preferredAbility to distinguish between types of medical procedures and diagnosesExcellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and decision-making skillsKnowledge of medical and scientific terminologyStrong detail and deadline orientationUnderstanding of human anatomy and pathology
