Description
As the MRI Technologist you will
perform basic and complex MR imagingprocedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require anin-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology,pharmacology and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a highdegree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. Youwill also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properlyscreen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room.You will:*
Ensure accurate processing ofradiology orders*
Maintain accurate up-to-date recordsof procedures performed*
Operate a variety ofpost-processing/3D workstations*
Perform accurate image archival*
Prepare and administer paramagneticcontrast media*
Sensitively handle physical andemotional needs of the patientSalary Range: $48.28 - $63.65 HourlyQualifications
