Postdoctoral Fellow in Organ Engineering with the Lewis Lab
The Lewis Lab is seeking a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in one or more of the following areas: stem cell biology, organoid differentiation, bioprinting, or tissue engineering. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of researchers supported under three new awards from NIH, DoD, and Wellcome Leap. The goals of these projects are to develop vascularized cerebral, cardiac, and renal organoids and to use the building blocks to fabricate functional organ-specific tissues at scale.Basic Qualifications:Candidates must have a Doctorate degree in Materials Science, Bioengineering, or Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, by the time the appointment begins.Additional Qualifications:Priority will be given to candidates with experience in two or more of these areas: stem cell biology, organoid differentiation, bioprinting, and tissue engineering. Successful candidates are also expected to have a strong track record of prior research accomplishments, as demonstrated by high-impact papers and/or patents.Special Instructions:Interested applicants should submit their application materials, including a CV, cover letter, research statement, 2-3 relevant publications, and names and email addresses of 3 references.
